We know the site may be slow and unresponsive at times, especially during peak times (it varies depending on a lot of things, but mostly weekday mornings/afternoons Pacific Time).
We're working on reconfiguring our database clusters to help eliminate these problems. We understand that it can be frustrating, especially to our paid members, when these problems arise. We are working hard to improve performance, and we're planning on getting some more manpower in the sysadmin department.
What to do when pages won't load:
- Don't keep reloading! This simply gives the already overworked servers more requests to process. It will not help you get access to the site any faster.
- Wait 10 minutes, then try again, or try during non-peak times
- Please don't submit a support request: We know these problems are occurring. Our support team is made up of volunteers who are not responsible for the performance of the site and cannot do anything to change it.
