We've spent most of the day trying to figure out why notifications -- including comment notifications and other outgoing email -- were delayed earlier today and late last night. We've found the source of the problem and we're working to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Comment notifications and the like will be delivered over the next few hours, as the backlog clears out. Apologies for the frustration caused by this.
