We're Back Up

Access to LiveJournal and ScrapBook has now been restored and is being served from our San Francisco data center. Some users will still be in read-only mode as we finish bringing up other services on our network and our data caches become populated.

All users are still unable to add any additional userpics, make voice posts, or upload images to your ScrapBook. You are also still unable to make purchases from the Gift Shop or manage Recurring Billing.

We will be updating http://status.livejournal.org as the night goes on. You can also watch the LJ Move Blog for on-the-spot info. We thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience being caused.

Update: We are currently diagnosing networking issues with our San Francisco network. It appears we are experiencing packet loss from certain Internet Service Providers. We are currently working to resolve this problem as quickly as possible.
