Site Maintenance

We're going to be doing some general site maintenance today, beginning at 4:00 P.M. PST (Convert this to your time here). We'll edit this post to let you when the maintenance is complete, and will post any other updates as needed to our Status Page.

Is there a time estimate for how long the site may be down?

The maintenance being performed should be mostly transparent and not affect site stability/access. Of course, maintenance can sometimes lead to unforeseen problems, so we'll update the Status page as soon as we're able to if the site starts experiencing any sort of intermittent downtime.

Похоже на моего котяру. Он любит ночью прийти и драть диван, на котором сплю. Если я его гоню, он принимается всем телом(а тело немаленькое) бросаться на меня. Стала выгонять из комнаты, закрывать дверь и подпирать ее (открывает) толстым томом заруб. лиературы. Поначалу орал, сейчас начал понимать и просто уходит.

I don't know what's going on, as I've actually checked the status page a few times, but I've been getting an Error 500! message continuously since yesterday evening, followed by a "service currently unavailable due to technical issues" message. I actually want to know what's going on regarding that.

I am intensely annoyed at finding that LJ once again have changed moderating communities without informing us.

I own a community where members are allowed to post, and having them not able to post because they have to go through my approval first is extremely annoying and Does. Not. Work.

I'm not always online and when members need to post, they should be able to post NOW.

You have now TWICE changed that without any warning, leaving my members hanging until I got online to discover it.

That. Effing. Sucks.

First time, I edited the comunities settings to No moderating on posts. And now you've added a new crap thing, that once more has the entries moderated. How long before you do it again????

STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!

LiveJournal, I know I have not posted in quite some time, but when I load up my journal (it is my default) and see an ad for Autism Speaks, I have five words for you: THIS SITUATION IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. You used to have strong communities of autistic adults on this site. You continually alienate them by doing things like this. I would just as soon shoot a person who donates to Autism Speaks in the face as look at them, so the English language lacks the words to properly convey how angry that makes me. That you will even accept so much as a penny from this fraudulent bunch of hucksters is one of many reasons why all my writing is going to WordPress now. Fix this before you lose even more of the content creators who keep your site running without reward.
